Here We Grow Again: CCRF Gains New Manitoba Rep for Partnership Committee

The Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation (CCRF) is pleased to welcome Dr. Stephan Cooper to its Partnership Committee. Dr. Cooper is a highly regarded member of the Manitoba Chiropractic Association (MCA) whose widespread connections and passion for research will help to advance the profession’s national research agenda.

“I have a fundamental belief that we need research to make what we do better for our patients and our community,” says Dr. Cooper.

In addition to his thriving Winnipeg practice, Dr. Cooper teaches with Safety Services Manitoba, is an adjunct research faculty at Cleveland Chiropractic College, and past chair of the MCA’s Research, Education and Ethics Committee. A veteran of both qualitative and quantitative research, his work has been published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and Topics in Integrative Health Care.

Dr. Cooper also consults with a wide variety of organizations, corporations, small businesses in the areas of injury prevention, return-to-work, ergonomics, and disability management and plans to use his contacts and expertise to build bridges within the profession and develop relationships with federal funding agencies, private companies and multidisciplinary healthcare groups.
