I have had the privilege of working with the chiropractic professions for a number of decades. This profession captured not only my interest but my heart. Having served as the CEO for the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors for almost 20 years I have seen this profession grow and steadily move forward into a place of respect, integration and participation in our healthcare system in Canada. A very significant contributor to the continued growth and success of the profession is due to the commitment to research and evidence based practice. This commitment moved the profession from historical and outdated theories to contemporary science and proven outcomes….via our established and ongoing commitment to research. The CCRF offers the profession the opportunity to expand its research activities, its partnership opportunities and enhance its reputation. It has supported and sustained emerging and established researchers whose efforts contribute to the credibility of the profession.
