Dr. Debbie Wright obtained her Bachelors of Science (Kinesiology) at Simon Fraser University, where she was a member of the varsity swimming team. She then attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Wright is a current managing partner of The Grove Health and Wellness, a multi-disciplinary collaborative care clinic located in Courtenay on Vancouver Island, BC. When not chasing around after her seven-year old daughter and five-year old son, she can be found on the slopes of Mount Washington, the mountain bike trails of Cumberland or the warm waters of the Salish Sea.
Areas of Expertise:
- General practice serving all ages and abilities
- Managing partner and chiropractor in a collaborative care model in a 15-practitioner clinic
- Expertise in advocacy work and governance, recently chairing the CCA
- Regularly involved in practice based research
Why I serve:
I’ve been a huge supporter of research since my early days in the profession, both financially and by participating in data collection through practice based research. I’m therefore incredibly excited to be able to continue this support by working with the CCRF to promote excellence in chiropractic research in Canada.
